JVI Newsletter ▪ January 2019
Please find below the January 2019 edition of our JVI Newsletter. Happy New Year to everyone from the JVI team! You will find stories below regarding public events at the JVI during autumn 2018 - one on the Euro Area Financial Sector Assessment conducted by the IMF and another on the Fall 2018 IMF World Economic Outlook - as well as an article on four new courses at the JVI in 2019 that were finalized after the Brochure was printed. In addition, please see an advertisement for the currently running online Financial Programming and Policies course in Russian. Finally, we have several new staff members at the JVI. As always, our goal with these Newsletters is to bring together stories and news from the JVI in one place on a quarterly basis. Among other things, we highlight upcoming deadlines for application to JVI courses. We are naturally very interested in feedback on the content of the Newsletter, and on the activities of the JVI more generally. Please do share your views with us at jvi@jvi.org. Thanks are due to contributors, and to Adam Gersl, Simone Schelling, and Christoph Daniel for pulling the Newsletter together. We look forward to seeing many of you here at the JVI during the coming year!
Thomas Richardson, Director
