Dear Friends of the JVI,
We hope this finds you well in this difficult period. The JVI is deeply saddened by the deaths, immense suffering, and destruction that the war has brought to Ukraine. Our thoughts are very much with our Ukrainian colleagues and their families.
In this edition of the JVI newsletter, you will find reports on a course recently delivered on Monetary Policy Implementation and one coming on Policy Support to the Private Sector. Recent webinars have covered Countercyclical Properties of Fiscal Rules, Macroeconomic and Trade Effects of Restrictions in Cross Border Labor Mobility, Construction, Real Estate and Climate Change, and Rethinking European Labor Market Policies in the Post-Pandemic Era.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, there is still uncertainty as to when we can resume training delivery in the classroom in Vienna. We hope that this moment will come soon, and we will inform you as soon as our plans firm up. Meanwhile, almost all our courses remain available for virtual delivery and our course schedule for 2022 is available. You may also be interested in the latest version of the IMF’s digital training catalogue.
If you have any questions, comments, or feedback of any kind, please write us a note at jvi@jvi.org. Many thanks to Rilind Kabashi, our Editor, Maša Valenko, Nensi Dragusha and all the contributors to this Newsletter.
