Policies for SME development in Eastern Partner countries – focus on digitalisation, RIA, M&E

All courses are scheduled to take place at the JVI. Courses may have to be delivered virtually in case safe travel to and in-person training in Vienna is not possible. The decision to offer virtual instead of onsite training will be made within 5 weeks of the course start date.

TARGET GROUP | Staff from Ministries of Economy, SME agencies and other public institutions involved in policy making for SME development, Digitalisation, Regulatory Impact Assessment and Monitoring and Evaluation.

 

DESCRIPTION | Based on preliminary results of the forthcoming edition of the OECD’s SME Policy Index, international experts and practitioners from the Eastern Partner (EaP) countries will discuss the state of play of policies to support SME development in the EaP region, with a particular focus on framework conditions for the digital economy and policy instruments for the digital transformation of SMEs. In addition, thematic sessions will touch upon guidelines to perform regulatory impact assessment (RIA), as well as best practices in monitoring and evaluation of SME policies and support programmes.
