All courses are scheduled to take place at the JVI. Courses may have to be delivered virtually in case safe travel to and in-person training in Vienna is not possible. The decision to offer virtual instead of onsite training will be made within 5 weeks of the course start date.

TARGET GROUP | Staff from HR and/or diversity officers and diversity ambassadors from national central banks and authorities.
DESCRIPTION | Given the important benchmark role that public administration and public authorities take in modern economies it is of particular importance to provide for a discrimination-free work environment in those institutions. This three-day course aims to disseminate information on how to promote diversity and inclusion in public institutions. In particular, the following aspects of diversity will be addressed: gender, ethnic affiliation, religion, age and sexual orientation. The course will give an overview of legal foundations and the state-of-play in international institutions such as the IMF and the ECB. It will allow for the exchange of best-practise and provide a platform for peer-to-peer exchange.
The course will include a mix of presentations and practical exercises. The OeNB’s diversity officers as well as representatives from the ECB’s diversity & inclusion team will be present for an active exchange of views and sharing experiences. Participants are expected to take an active part in the discussions and bring in their own experience.
