JVI Welcomes OeNB Vice Governor Edeltraud Stiftinger and the team

Edeltraud Stiftinger, Vice Governor of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB), accompanied by Wolf Heinrich Reuter (Director of Economic Analysis and Research), Regina Fuchs (Director of Statistics), and Karin Fischer-Landgraf (Office of the Vice Governor) visited the JVI on 6 March 2026. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the JVI’s strategic priorities and activities, while underscoring the deep and longstanding partnership between the JVI and the OeNB.

During the visit, the delegation toured the JVI’s training and residential facilities and met with staff and management. They discussed the JVI’s priorities, course offerings, operations and facilities. They also underscored the central role the JVI plays in supporting capacity development across the region—in the face of an ever changing regional and global context—including its work related to Ukraine.
