To support our member countries in their efforts to deal with the economic consequences of the Corona pandemic, the JVI has launched a new webinar series.

The next webinar focusing on financial stability issues will take place on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at 14.00 – 15.30 Vienna time (CEST). 

The topic of the webinar is:

Macrofinancial Considerations for Assessing the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Presenters

Mr. Heedon Kang, Senior Financial Sector Expert (IMF), Mr. Phakawa Jeasakul, Economist (IMF), and Ms. Purva Khera, Economist (IMF) will present recent IMF work on this topic.

Mr. Alexander Morozovag, Head of the Macroeconomic and Forecasting Department (Bank of Russia) and Mr. Michal Horváth, Chief Economist (Central Bank of Slovakia) will present the experience of their respective institutions.

The webinar will be moderated by Reiner Martin, Lead Economist (JVI).

Participants are encouraged to ask written questions to the presenters using the webinar’s chat forum.

The webinar will be held in English.
